Less is better: a double bass drum choice

At last i decided and, after more or less 15 years on honored service, i gave some rest to my old double (assembled) pedal: a ‘don’t-even-remember-model’ Pearl.
I’ve bought another pearl, a P 122Tw double bass, that’s a middle level solid, simple but at the same time flexible pedal, that my feet liked immediatly. Cost: 185 € in the real world, more or less the cybershopping cost. Except if you can buy it from Usa (something like 140 $, really cheap with the strong Euro).
For some time i had the idea to buy a top level double pedal, like Pearl Eliminator or DW Accelerator series, for more than 300 €: great F1 car, with tons of settings and features. I decided not to buy: too much money, yes, but, first of all, because i don’t want to give the hardware the responsibility to do my job. In this case too, less is better.
