On Boston.com there’s a portait of Terri Lyne Carrington e Cindy Blackman, ex Berklee, two fast growing drummer in jazz/rock scene. Talented, smart and [why noty] sexy. And band leader.

Terry Lyne played with Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter and was resident drummer for Arsenio Hall Show band; Cindy is the girl we saw beating the drums behind Lenny Kravitz.

“The gender question is not even worth bringing up because the drums have got nothing to do with gender,” Blakman says on. “I’m there because I love to play music. And I’m in support of anyone who wants to play the instrument”. And maybe she can support her
