PAS Drumset Competition Entries Due Soon!
First Round DVD Entries Must be Postmarked by May 15, 2010
Highlights of the PAS Drumset Competition Include:
* Every competition participant will receive written comments from a judge
* Two age groups of competition (14-17 and 18-22)
* Variety of musical categories to choose from:
1. R&B / Funk / Gospel
2. Jazz
3. Brazilian / Afro-Cuban / African
* Selected finalists invited to compete at PASIC 2010 with a live professional band and will receive live comments from a master professional drumset artist
Preliminary Round Judges
1.) R&B / Funk / Gospel: Ndugu Chancler, David Garibaldi, Tommy Igoe, Zoro
2.) Jazz: Terri Lyne Carrington, Peter Erskine, Jeff Hamilton, Ed Soph
3.) Brazilian / Afro-Cuban / African: Gregg Bissonette, Jimmy Branly, Walfredo Reyes Jr., Bobby Sanabria
