Tunited delayed
Tunited, Midge Ure music scouting community, is delayed unitl April 2010 due to “are some areas [of site] that are still being integrated”.
Tunited contest deadline, also, is extended to jan 31 2010.
Here’s the official mail from Tunited:
Thanks for logging in to our new music community website, Tunited. As you know, we were aiming to launch the site on 10.01.10 but we’ve had a couple of technical glitches that have set us back. The site is looking amazing but there are some areas that are still being integrated. We want every single page on the site to be super-hot when we launch so you get the best experience possible. With that in mind, we’ve decided to delay the launch until April 2010, when our web designer friends say the site should be ready.
But while they’re working on the site all day and night, we’re not sitting around twiddling our thumbs. In January, we’re starting a weekly blog that will bring you the latest music industry news, exclusive features, reviews, competitions to win gig tickets and updates on what’s going on at Tunited. This is just a taste of what you can expect from Tunited’s magazine when it’s up and running.
Now the site will launch in April 2010, we’ve decided to extend the profile artist competition too until 31st January 2010; it seemed fair to give you guys a bit more time to get your entries in, now we have more time to judge them.
