Three weeks in N.Y. studying at Drummers Collective, with all bills payed. It’s the main prize for the Virtual Drummer School Second International Scholarships in collaboration with Drummers Collective and AIE (Composers and Performers Spanish Association).

Contest is open to Virtual Drummers School students from any country from 18 to 30 years old. All info on VDS website. Here and excerpt of the contest’s rules:

The VDS in cooperation with AIE (Composers and Performers Spanish Association), and the famous Drummers Collective of N.Y., organizes the Second International Scholarships, for the VDS students.

. 11 Scholarship for the “Elective Intensive”
a) 3 weeks course at the Drummers Collective, costing 4.800 US$.
b) Additionally, 3.600 US$ for travel expenses, hotel, etc. The total amount will be 8.400 US$.

. 2 Scholarships for one year susbscription at the VDS
. 4 Scholarships for six months susbscription at the VDS
. 8 Scholarships for three months susbscription at the VDS

What do you need to participate?
. 1. You must be enrolled as a VDS student during the inscription period, this is, from August 1st until October 30th
. 2. The participation is open to every VDS student from any country in the world.
. 3. The participant’s age must be between 18 and 30 years old.
. 4. The inscription period will be from August 1st until October 30th.
. 5. All the participants must send a CD, MP3, K7 containing:
a) Two songs, any style (max. 5 minutes length)
b) Drum “solo” (max. 5 minutes length)
c) Complete currículum vitae.
d) Recent picture.
e) Any I.D. to certify your age.
. 6. First selection will be done on November, 30th. The results will be available at the VDS web.
. 7. Second selection will be done on December, 30th. Only 30 students will remain.
. 8. Last selection will be done on January, 20th
